Complex & Multidisciplinary Care
About
Some patients have more complex orthodontic needs that require specialist, carefully coordinated care. As a consultant orthodontist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Olivia has particular experience managing complex and medically compromised cases — including impacted teeth and cleft lip and palate — as part of specialist multidisciplinary teams.
Who is it for?
Children and adults with complex needs, such as impacted or ectopic teeth, cleft lip and palate, and other craniofacial or medically complex conditions requiring coordinated treatment.
What to expect
These cases are assessed and planned with great care, usually involving detailed imaging and input from a multidisciplinary team — which may include oral and maxillofacial surgeons, restorative dentists and other specialists. Treatment is fully tailored to the individual and may take place over several stages. Olivia coordinates each step and explains the plan clearly so you always understand what's involved.
